I wrote earlier about our new doggie, Lily. Lilly is feeling more and more at home every day. I’ve been working on getting her used to the parrots. At first, she didn’t know what to make of Rufus the Wonder Bird, and Rufus didn’t know what to make of her. We put them on the kitchen floor together and watched them very carefully while sitting right next to them.
Rufus is OK with dogs since we already have two of them who he gets along fine with. Lilly at first was very curious about Rufus, but the last time we gave them supervised visitation she seemed bored with him. That’s fine with me! We still are going to keep a really good eye on her every time the parrots are out. We don’t want to take any chances.
