I posted recently about replacing my parakeets eggs with white jellybeans to get them to stop laying eggs.
Well, the jig is up. Today, I caught my parakeets nibbling on their “eggs”. So, I guess they aren’t fooled any more. Not bad, though. We switched out the first egg for a jelly bean on May third, so the plan lasted about four weeks! She had been sitting on them every day until today.
I hope she stops laying eggs. As I said before, her mate is her brother, so we don’t want any babies.
